Terms of Use

Use the API without abusing the shared pool.

FreeTheAi gives the community free and optional paid API access. By using the site, Discord bot, API keys, or API endpoints, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

Effective date: May 31, 2026

Allowed use

Build, test, learn, and create.

You may use FreeTheAi for normal personal projects, learning, experiments, roleplay clients, coding agents, bots, and apps that follow Discord rules, applicable law, and these terms.

Not allowed

No abuse, bypassing, or harm.

Do not use FreeTheAi for spam, malware, credential theft, harassment, illegal content, evading bans or limits, mass account creation, key resale, denial-of-service behavior, scraping the service, or anything that harms the platform or community.

Account rules

Keys are tied to real access checks.

API keys may require Discord signup, membership checks, daily check-ins, role eligibility, rate limits, and concurrency limits. Do not share, sell, automate, or rotate keys to bypass those checks. We may revoke, suspend, rate-limit, or block access when behavior looks abusive or unsafe.

Logging disclosure

We do not store prompts, completions, uploaded media, or conversation history as operational logs. We do log IP addresses and other security, request, account, usage, and client metadata to validate access, secure the service, debug failures, and protect against abuse.

Availability

Free access is best effort. Models, limits, routes, features, plans, and access rules can change as capacity, security, or provider behavior changes. Optional paid slots are separate and may have their own plan limits.

User responsibility

Do not send secrets to AI systems.

You are responsible for what your client sends. Do not submit passwords, private keys, tokens, payment data, private personal information, or material you do not have the right to process. You are also responsible for your client configuration, prompts, outputs, and how you use model responses.
